In this episode of America’s Fabric, Dr. Vliet discusses the harm ObamaCare is causing to young Americans. Millennials, now between the ages of 18-34, have LOWER incomes, LESS wealth, HIGHER unemployment, and GREATER DEBT than the baby boomers had at the same stage of life.

In this episode of America’s Fabric, Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet of http://HerPlace.com, lists the TOP FIVE recent changes to Medicare. Medicare as you have known it has been drastically transformed under Obamacare in many ways that affect your ability to get the medical care you need when you need it, even if you want to pay out of pocket. On July 18, 2013 FoxNews.com reported Yale researchers’ findings that avoidance of estrogen likely led to the premature deaths of 50,000 women over the last 10 years, as a result of flawed FDA guidelines. As ObamaCare increases federal control over allowed medical treatments in the US, such government distortion of research will likely be even more hazardous to your health.

Dr. Vliet discusses recent events that combine to push us further down the road to government-controlled medical care by undermining the ability of private medical insurance plans to remain in business. The Obama administration announced July 3, 2013 that it would delay by one year the enforcement of the employer mandate provision of Obamacare that forces large employers to provide affordable healthcare for their employees or else pay a $2000 penalty per worker. By forcing individuals to purchase Continue reading →
The stark differences between the neighboring countries of Argentina and Chile provide a lesson for us here in the USA. If our tradition of liberty continues to decline, so too will your ability to access high-quality medical services and medical privacy. As the tsunami of ObamaCare hits in 2014, making plans now to receive your medical care in countries where economic freedom flourishes could be critical to your future health and wealth.
Government intrusions, including the 2010 health care law limiting medical treatment options and new threats to Second Amendment rights, are jeopardizing your liberty, privacy, and ultimately your right to defend your body and life.
Elizabeth Lee Vliet, M.D., speaks about new international options to protect your medical privacy and freedom and be able to obtain the life-saving medical care you may need.

Elizabeth Lee Vliet, MD hosts Americas Fabric on KVOI AM Tucson, on February 24, 2012. NRA Past President Sandra Froman joins her for this important discussion about Second Amendment rights
Both gun control and healthcare control infringe on our constitutionally-guaranteed rights. The right to keep and bear arms and the right to make individual decisions about health care are fundamental to protecting our most important personal property – our own bodies! Our Founders knew that you could not defend your body with parchment! The Second Amendment has everything to do with defending our property, and our bodies as our property, from government control or harm from criminals. Gun control does nothing to help reduce the types of deaths we have seen when disturbed individuals decide to use a gun to kill and maim. Gun control only disarms the law-abiding citizens, and makes them vulnerable to the same slaughter we have seen with armed governments in the Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, China, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Syria and other totalitarian states. I urge you to listen to this program and share it with your list, post the link on Facebook and tweet to encourage others to listen to the ways that healthcare control and gun control are linked….and threaten your very right to defend your body ….from illness or criminals!
Just exactly what does the “Medicaid expansion” mean for the average person? Will you really have better or lower cost medical services? Or, will you be left out in the cold when you need to see a doctor because doctors have stopped taking Medicaid? Will your taxes go up even more to pay for medical care for other people when Medicaid is expanded to cover 133% of the federal poverty level?
The Medicaid expansion also means that older people on Medicare will have to be DENIED medical care to save money so that YOUNGER people can have medical care paid for with the expansion of taxpayer funded Medicaid.
Dr. Vliet and guest, Carolyn Cox, President of Tucson Conservative Forum, discuss how the expansion of government controlled Medicaid actually undermines our American traditions of self-reliance, autonomy, and liberty for self-determination as the cornerstones of our lives.
Elizabeth Lee Vliet, M.D. of http://www.HerPlace.com hosts “America’s Fabric” on 10/21/2012 — KVOI 1030AM — Tucson, AZ. The hidden knives buried in ObamaCare will cut $716 billion from the care for Medicare seniors, the majority of whom are women. This means loss of access to life-saving medical care for older women so that younger women can use others’ tax money to abort babies (more than half of whom would grow up to be women).
The 2010 health care law and other failed government policies increasingly enable hospitals, insurance companies, and government agencies to abuse their power and sacrifice patient care and even lives to unfairly enrich their bottom line. Independent physicians working only for their patients’ best interests are similarly under attack. Patients and physicians must demand these abuses stop. AAPS General Counsel Andrew Schlafly joins Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet, MD of http://www.herplace.com to discuss this important topic.
